“ Had a wonderful Mother's day meal, ginger beef is unbelievably tender and flavorful, great sweet & sour, Fung Wong Gai is very filling, like a miniaturized cordon bleu. Service is prompt, restaurant is clean and nicely decorated. Wonderful alternative to fast food Chinese! ”
“ Good food good for a good price. Staff is friendly too. I recommend it for delivery or carry out. ”
“ To celebrate Lunar New Year at my place of business, I had asked them to prepare 6 dishes in big containers. It was affordable and the clients loved it! The best part? The owner/cook CAME IN WHEN THE RESTAURANT WAS CLOSED to fill the order for me! ”
“ We love new garden! Been here two or three times and the lunch specials hit the spot. Favorites are pork fried rice sweet and sour pork and egg rolls. ”
“ Today i came here for Chinese for lunch. Had gotten the lunch special of the day today is Thursday. which is kung Pao Chicken, Fried Rice and Mandarin Chicken. Everything was off the frier fresh. And very hot. Was very pleased with the service. This is defiantly one of the best Chinese restaurants i have visited for lunch. Was very happy with everything. Would highly recommend this place for lunch. ”
“ First of all this is a Taiwanese restaurant not a traditional Chinese restaurant. Some of the meals might be a little different from traditional Chinese food. My spicy Kung Pao Shimp Delight was delicious and the vegetables complemented the spicy shrimp blend well. There wasn't a lot of shrimp but if you understand how expensive it can be and after everything covid did to businesses, it's totally understandable to me, and I didn't mind. My only "complaint" would be that my dish had too many nuts in it. But I also know people have their preferences, when I make a traditional meal, I sometimes forget that not everyone enjoys my preferences. The second dish was A General Tao Chicken that was very delicious, better than other Chinese restaurants I had around town. The Noodles had a vegetarian broth in it that was very good and tasty. Could use a little seasoning. The atmosphere was very traditional and even the music was traditional power ballads in their native tongue. The server was very friendly, kind, and we talked about kids and family since my new born was with us. She made us laugh a few times. Don't let one bad experience ruin experimenting with new dishes. Being cultured has its ups and downs. I would come here again just try another dish. I will always support small businesses over corporate ones. ”
“ Best Chinese food around. I’m really picky about my kung pao chicken and New Garden’s is the best I’ve found in Boise. Staff is so friendly and the portions are huge and reasonably priced. 10.95 for a lunch special and I have lunch for two days. I highly recommend this place! ”
“ I love this place the chicken was amazing if you like General chicken then check this place out and the price was real good but I also came in during the lunch special. I can't end before I tell you about the best fried rice I've had so good ... ”
